This American Flyer was my train from the 1950's. I just set it up for the first time in over 40 years! It immediately started working and went all the way around the track! The light even works. Of course I didn't get it going like it should, I remember always having to fool with the tracks to get good contact, but at least I can say it goes full tilt! This brought me years of fun as a child! It consists of: American Flyer Engine 302 and Tender. The engine works and lights up! A.C.Gilbert American Flyer C&N.W.RY 4259 with Wire Spool (spool is not stock) Illinois Central Ventilated Refrigerator Car 923 American Flyer Gondola Car 641 with tube cargo. Not sure if the tubes were stock? Gulf Tanker 625G American Flyer Caboose 638 All the cars are in good working order and all in nice shape with the exception of the 4259, which has paint chipping off. All the couplers are working good as well as the wheels. I see nothing wrong with anything except the paint I noted on one car. 13 Straight tracks 13 Straight tracks 1 curved track with what I remember as a derailer.
