In this Auction we have an American Flyer train set that I believe was made in the late 1920's or early 1930's. Pre-War, 0 Scale. It is two-tone blue in color, and is made of metal. It is marked, " Nation Wide Lines". It has the Engine # 3113, plus three additional Cars. They are: Observation car # 81, passenger car # 81, and car (caboose?) # 80. The doors are all present and work smoothly on car # 81. This set appears to be in very good condition, and has a nice appearance. We have not attemped to clean this set, as we know very little about trains. The man we purchased this set from said he inherited it from his Uncle, and that it had been packed away for about 60 years! When we got home, we realized it was wrapped up in a Michigan newspaper dated 1948! Please email any questions. The free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.
