We will be listing many cars and some locomotives and buildings, etc. These have all come from a great estate sale. We are not model railroad experts. We are not sure if these are working or not or if they are all complete. We have described these items to the best of our ability. Please ask questions before bidding as these are sold AS IS, as described and shown with NO returns.Please look at all the photos provided for condition.American Flyer Silver Flash S Scale Diesel Loco Locomotive Train Set. We are not sure if this the complete Silver Flash set, check the photos.Included in this auction: Silver Flash diesel loco 479 . As you can see in one of the photos, the headlight lights up when I attached the #690 track terminal to the track and plugged in the transformer. The train did not move, but the wheels sparked when it was attached. Not sure what that all means, as I am not a train expert. The right side decals are partially present, left side looks Ok. The lever on the bottom of the loco does slide left and right. 2 couplers, 4 metal steps are attached, 2 plastic side pieces are also attached. This appears to be missing the airhorn, if there ever was one. The rear wheels turn freely by hand, the front wheels do not turn at all. Overall length is 12 1/4". CB & Q 921 Hopper with " coal " or Coal Car. This is all plastic except for the wheel assemblies and couplers. 2 couplers, all 4 steps are there. Overall length 6 3/8". Gulf GATX 33648 Three Dome Tanker. This has a metal chassis and wheel assemblies, plastic tank marked on one end with American Flyer info. 2 couplers, 4 steps and hand wire is intact. 7 3/4" long. Southern 920 Black Open Gondola. This has a plastic body with metal wheel assemblies. On one end the wheels are off but included. This has the American Flyer info on the inside bottom of the gondola. 4 steps and 2 couplers are there. Overall 8" long. Northern Pacific 947 Refrigerated Box Car or Reefer. This has a plastic body with metal chassis and wheel assembly. Door on each side slides correctly on metal rails. No brake wheel if there ever was one. American Flyer marked on bottom of chassis. 4 end steps and 2 couplers attached. Overall 7 3/4" long. American Flyer Lines 930 Lighted Caboose. As you can see in the photos, it was lit along with the loco as mentioned above. It did flicker when rolling along the track. Plastic body, metal chassis and wheel assembly. All windows are intact but dirty. Both ends have intact walkway bars and brake wheels. American Flyer info on bottom of chassis. 4 steps, 2 couplers attached. Overall 5 3/4" long. 4 pieces straight track, 10" long each, some rust visible. 12 pieces curved track, 9 1/2" long each, some rust visible . American Flyer Transformer No. 1 1/2. The cord on this is cracked and brittle in several places, although it did power up the lights in the trains for our photos as shown. Track Terminal 690, 1 piece, also used for photos. American Flyer Uncoupler Push Button switch. Not tested. Remote Uncoupler 706, 1 piece. Not tested. Diesel Horn push button, 1 piece. Not tested. This has a couple of melt marks on each side. Track Locks # 693, 16 pieces with paper envelope, rust is present on the pieces.This is being sold as a COLLECTIBLE ONLY!
