Up for auction is an AMERICAN FLY ER # 4218 O or s tandard g auge railroad red and green stop signal. The sig nal has some minor chips in the paint and the base with some unfortunate twists in the ladder but it still looks pretty good for its age. T he signal head is in great shape and the "American Flyer Lines" decal is in go od condition. Unfortunately t he brass painted finial t hat is suppose to be on the top of the post is missing. I installed new bulbs and tested the signal s howing it lighted in the last photo. I should note that while I wired it to light both light at the same time, it may be wired so one light at a time lights up. Even though this accessory is not perfect , i f you are a fan of the b eaut iful colors and s tyle of prewar items you just might enjoy having this accessory piece on your layout!
