Offered is an American Flyer O guage motor for what I believe is one of the early cast iron locomotives. I have put new springs and brushes in and cleaned the motor and it runs great. I am not sure what engine this would have been used with, but I suspect it originally came in a 3198 motor. I know that the 3195 motors had a small portion of the frame cut away at the upper front so that they would fit in the casting and this one is not missing that portion of the frame. There are holes in the upper portion of the frame that are for mounting the bracket that would have held this in the 3198 casting. The other thing that is missing is the reverse unit, so this runs in forward only. The wheels are original and in reasonable condition, and do not need replacing. Please ask any questions that you may have. I expect to be paid within 4 days of the end of the auction unless contact or other arraingments have been made. I reserve the right to open an upaid item dispute if payment has not been made within 4 days. I will combine shipping costs on multiple purchases.
