This is a Lot of Old American Flyer Track, Switches, & More - see all 6 photos below and a detailed list of the items included is also below. All of this track is in usable condition but it needs some work/clean up to get it ready to use. I am a model railroader myself and I understand the concept of track that is usable and track that is not usable. If you are an American Flyer operator then you know what I mean when I say that the track is usable but it needs work to get it ready to run. Please understand that this track has been used, some of it was mounted on a board and it shows wear & tear. It has been stored away for 40+ years and it does need cleaning, it is dusty. Track rails are tarnished and will need to cleaning for good electrical contact. I checked each track section one by one, bent connectors were straightened and missing connectors were replaced, there are no missing connector pins. There are no bent or damaged track sections. There is no serious rust, you may find a spot of rust here or there, but nothing that would cause any real problem and it should clean off easily. Items included are as follows:39 Curve Tracks (2 boxes, 12 per box - plus 15 loose)22 Straight Tracks2 Pair of Remote Switches with Controllers - they have been tested and they work properly, internal slides have been lubricated. The controllers and the switches themselves need new light bulbs. The wires on one of the controllers have been cut very short. One switch has some minor damage, see 3rd photo below. All wire screw downs are in place.2 Half Length Straight Tracks1 Remote Straight Track - not tested, no guarantee as to functional condition2 #704 Manual Uncouplers - One comes with the original envelope1 #706 Remote Uncoupler - not tested, no guarantee as to functional condition 2 #690 Terminal Connectors, both with original envelopes2 Control Buttons - not tested, no guarantee as to functional condition 1 #4B Transformer - Needs new cord, cord has been cut off. Not tested, no guarantee as to functional condition. Includes original box.1 #2 Transformer - very poor condition, my guess is that it is probably just junk.1 Instruction Booklet1 Service Center PamphletShipping cost includes tracking & insurance.
