You will experience true model railroading when you handle the throttle of the heavy weight American Flyer smoker with its Choo-Choo sound. It has Pul-Mor power that lets it climb the steepest of grades and haul long strings of cars. It produces smoke that glows a realistic red as it puffs from the stack. This is a great vintage operating train in super condition. The offering details are as follows:The American Flyer #293 Pacific style, New York, New Haven and Hartford die cast locomotive and its accompanying tender. The engine has been tuned up and the reverse unit has been serviced. The control fingers have been replaced and a new wire harness installed. The engine changes direction smoothly without missing a shift. There is an operating headlight and a boiler mounted smoke unit that produces volumes of smoke (see pictures). The engine has been sand blasted and repainted and is in great condition. The tender has the original paint and shows some minor playwear. This deluxe tender includes railroad marker lights, sliding pick up shoes and a coal stoker. This good looking, great running locomotive and tender grade C-7.
Two American Flyer #924 Jersey Central covered hopper cars. One of the cars is in good condition and grades C-7 and the other car is in good condition but is missing two steps and grades C-6. Two American Flyer #923 Illinois Central refrigerator cars. They are both in good condition with only minor playwear and they grade C-7. The American Flyer #930 American Flyer Lines Tuscan painted illuminated caboose. The caboose is in good conditon with minor playwear and grades C-7. The American Flyer #940 Wabash Coal hopper car. The car is in great condition with all of its steps intact and very little playwear. It grades C-8. The American Flyer #941 Frisco Lines Tuscan painted gondola. This car shows moderate playwear and grades C-6. The American Flyer #4B transformer. This 100 watt transformer has an automatic circuit breaker, a good power cord and it works great. Two American Flyer #720 electric remote control switches with a two lever illuminated controller. The switches work great and are in like new condition. Two American Flyer #706 electric uncouplers and their control buttons Two American Flyer #690 track lockons Six plastic realistic looking telephone poles Fourteen pieces of American Flyer #702 curved track. One of the bumpers is illuminated with a railroad worker holding a red warning light A Marx water tower with a working bubble tube. On top of the tower is an erector watchtower and a railroad worker on the inspection ladder with a small handheld light. This is a super looking, operating accessory. One Plasticville railroad station Four Department 56 decorative houses from the Dickens Village series. They are the Booter and Cobbler, the Weeton watchmaker, the Theatre Royal and the White Horse bakery.
