Good old all steel MADE IN THE USA American Flyer transformer for your traditional collection. OK so this is one of my own personal power units I use on my test track and it works perfectly . Both sides output right on the money and the very important circuit breaker works just fine, all lights also operate as they should. The unit has some moderate cosmetic wear to the paint and bright metal, both original handles are in great shape and blessedly the original cord is in awesome shape so you wont have to replace it. The only thing amiss is the terminal board on the back which has a crack in it. Terminals still work fine but if you want this perfect you will have to make or buy a replacement and slip it into place (which requires taking off the cover). I really like these 12B's , they look very handsome and have a vintageness to them that plastic units cant even begin to offer, the ratchety feel to the throttles is a thrill so this should make the tinplate operator happy. I am selling this unit because I have several transformers and have officially run out of room! The box is a bit tatty from storage but its not rotten and is still strong with all the cool writing and emblems that makes toy train collecting so fun! Have fun! Ask me about Intl. shipping!!
