Offered for sale is the American Flyer # 22035 transformer that the A. C. Gilbert Company made from 1957 to 1964. This transformer is rated at 175 watts. It is a bit dirty from years in storage. I don't have an American Flyer layout, so I can only report on the voltages that I can measure. The fixed terminal labeled '17 V' actually measures 18.36 V from the base terminal. The voltage at the variable terminal varies from 5.08 V to 18.35 V when either direction control is active. The cord is very supple; it was probably replaced at some time.Other than being a little dirty, this transformer seems to be in pretty good condition.Shipping is via UPS and is to the U.S. ONLY . Because of the weight of this item, I will only ship ground. I accept PayPal, but contact me if you prefer another payment method. Please ask any questions and . I am TCA 08-62079.
