Large size exhibtion catalogue featuring prominent New England and New York State artists. The artwork comprises folk art portraits, silhouettes and miniature portraits. The artists in this catalogue are both the well-known and the anonymous. Each artist has a biographical section outlining their career, when and where they worked and most importantly the stylicstic characteristics of their work. There are a great many items in this catalogue. Most of these pictures are taken from the section on a particular artist. Beautifully photographed in full color. Each picture has its dimensions given and the media (e.g., hollow-cut silhouette with watercolor). An excellent resource for collectors or dealers in American folk art, silhouettes and miniature portraits. Large pictorial softcover measuring 9" by 11-1/2" and numbering 60 pages. Catalogue is in nice, fresh condition with
