Pleasant Company American Girl DollDress is marked Made in West Germany, making this a pre Mattel doll.Doll is in good, played with condition. Hair is brush-able, but has some dryness at the bottom as you can see in the close-up picture. Curls have straightened a bit with playing. Doll has a small scratch/scuff on fingers on left hand. There may be other small marks, but I haven't found them to list. All limbs seem tight for having been played with, not as tight as new. Doll clothes (slip, socks, shoes, hair ribbon, and dress) are complete and appear to be in good condition.All sales are final. Please ask questions if you have a question I haven't addressed here.*Update* I removed her shoes today and it looks like the bottom of one of her socks is stained pink from the inside of the shoe. I haven't washed it, so I don't know if it will come out. Also, to clarify, this doll has no tag on her stating where she was made. I don't even see a place where one should be. The dress contains the markings that she was made in West Germany. Her brighter colored red hair also suggests this.
