Up for your consideration is American Girl Doll made by Pleasant Company Samantha, 1988. She is in wonderful condition and beautiful. This doll actually belonged to my sister and she is ready to sell her Pleasant Company items and has no idea how to work ebay. The doll has never been around smoke. She has been stored in a closet for years. *She is a high quality German made doll that will last for many more years.*Her vinyl is soft and squeezable*No silver eye* Samantha's hair hasn't been cut*she can stand on her own.* She has her original locket*Her hair has been taken down and re-done but is in great condition with lots of curl.*She is in a newer 1986 meet dress BUT will come with her original dress that has the paper tag (that is how the 1986-1989 tags were on meet clothing that came on the doll, at least that is how they were on our dolls). The switch was made by my sister years ago because the velcro at the very top of the original was coming loose from the dress-----ANYONE that can sew can fix this it is easy, we just don't sew. Both dresses are in excellent condition. My sister just wanted to include her original dress*Her tights are replacements but they are from the Samantha outfit my sister got as a replacement.
