Samantha Parkington and Nellie O'Malley American Girl Doll Set.....features the two dolls in their initial outfits......both have the flesh toned bodies, both have the Pleasant Valley marking on back of the neck, both dolls eyes open and close as they should....not an expert on these, but I do not see any of the X-outs that I have read about which would indicate an inferior sample....Nellie is in great shape, stands on her own with no problem....Samantha is a little more loose but as you can see from the picture, stands on her own with just a little help.......lot also includes four sets of shoes (two of which are the ones that came with the dolls initially), two additional American Girl outfits---complete with American Girl hangers, an American Girl Hair Curling set---not sure if the red bag is actually part of this but this is how the set had been stored (can't find the water bottle), an assortment of hats as well as a Teddy Bear which belongs with one of the dolls, also including another set of shoes and a dress which I don't think are part of the AG line but I think my daughter used these with the AG dolls.....lot also includes introductory pamphlets for the dolls (2 of Samantha) and the curling set plus some ribbons that were stored with these, not sure if they are part of the AG line but didn't want to leave anything out... read more
