This cute American Girl of Today / Just Like You / My American Girl set was available for about two years -- from 2007 to 2009 -- and has been retired for about four years now. It consists of several different pieces and has lots of play value. It also goes perfectly with the Island Vacation Outfit, which is available in a separate auction. “On the beach or on thewaves, this set offers just what her American Girl needs. Whether it’s time to relax or time to play, this set is ready for her doll: A floral towel and purple sunglasses A surfboard with an adjustable ankle strap to keep her doll secure, plus stickers to personalize the board A snorkel, mask and fins for a pretend swim among colorful fish.” This item has never been played with or even displayed. It has only been removed from the box once, and that was to take these auction photos. This item is complete and 100% authentic. It was purchased by me directly from American Girl.
