This is a beautiful little American Girl toy sewing machine. It is in good condition, with little wear showing. The black enamel is still shiny. The words "American Girl" is printed in gold lettering on the front of the arm. According to Glenda Thomas guide, Toy and miniature Sewing Machines, this was probably manufactured in the 1930's or 1940's. This little beauty has a seam guide and black wheel with a chrome (?) outer ring. The knob is wooden and intact. The machine is mounted on a wooden base. I think that this would be really pretty displayed by a collection of American Girls (t)dolls. I display one of my little machines in my sewing room. I ship only to U. S. addresses. I accept Pay Pal, cashier's checks or U. S. Postal money orders. Happy Bidding! This would make a wonderful gift for a quilter or someone who loves to sew. Mother's Day is just around the corner!
