LARGE, AMERICAN HAND BLOWN, ART GLASS VASE, SATIN FINISH--SUBTLE IRIDESCENCE--MODERN STYLE Up for auction is a very nice hand blown vase that I recently acquired at an estate sale. The previous owners are in their '60's, and were downsizing. Since, they aren't elderly, I am hesitant to call it vintage--but, it could be. It is large...13" tall and about 8" in diameter at its widest point. The bottom is about 4" in diameter. It has a sticker on that says: AMERICAN HAND BLOWN GLASS. It's shape is modern in style. The finish is satin. The surface design is charcoal in color and free-form. T is also a very subtle iridescence to the vase. It is in very good condition. No cracks, or chips. T is some very small flaking around the opening, that I think happened when the top edge was ground off. Barely noticeable...I don't think it detracts from its beauty or value. This piece displays well and would compliment a modern decor. Shipping will be actual cost calculated on the buyer's zip code. I ship USPS, parcel or priority--you decide. Insurance is optional. If you need expedited shipping contact me and we can accommodate that. Insurance is optional, but recommended for items that are breakable. However, I pack very well--see feedback. I can not be responsible for items, once they have shipped. And, I don't believe in profiting from shipping charges. Shipping charges are an estimation.
