ANTIQUE HUGE AMERICAN INDIAN ART WHIMSEY STAR PILLOW OR PIN CUSHION SOUVENIR OF NIAGRA FALLS.

Late 1800s to early 1900s, it is a souvenir whimsey from Niagra Falls. This huge whimsey measures 12" across not including the dangling bangles and amazingly it's 4" deep. The glass beads are gorgeous greens, golds, pinks, blues, white and clear. The 6 bangles dangling from star's points are only partially t Two are complete with three bangles, 1 is missing all bangles, 2 are missing 2 bangles and 1 is missing 1 bangle. The pink background is missing about 15% of the fabric. It is still a beautiful work of art regardless of these few flaws. The two main beaded flowers are higher than 1.5" high and look awesome. Most all of the beadwork is thick and raises up quite high from the whimsey pillow. The mauve color underside is polished cotton and still strong - t is fading at three of the star points.
