The blank has been planed on all sides. Timber used for our neck blanks is always selected for consistency of grain and absence of defects. If required the blank can be planed down to a different thickness without charge - if this is desired, please make this clear at the time of ordering. Dimensions: The approximate dimensions of the blank are as follows- 838mm x 90mm x 23mm Type of sawing: Flat sawn Timber Species: American White Maple. Acer saccharum . Found throughout the northern United States and Canada. Delivery: Our blanks are carefully packaged and delivered throughout the mainland UK by carriers. The timber is always insured and so price has a baring on carriage cost. We will always combine carriage charges to give the best available rates on multiple purchases. Generally, a single small neck blank will cost £7.80 for delivery, 2 blanks £9.80 and 3 blanks £11.75. Carriage for heavier or more valuable neck blanks will cost more.
