eBay's largest sellers use AuctionLynxx to increase sales... shouldn't you? This is a very old book that is in fair condition. The title page is missing, but the title on the spine appears to be American Military Biography. The book is in fair condition. Several pages are missing in different sections. T are two pages. The first is related to 'Causes of the American Revolution' and the second is 'Military Bibliographies.' If you would like the exact titles, please inquire. This book has remnants of what appears to be an early or original dust jacket in made of thin opaque material. T are numerous names and inscriptions in the book. One is dated 1829. Many appear to be related to several generations of the Skeel or Skeels family. The book appears to have been heavily used by family members. My research shows the Skeel family had members in the American Revolution. T is one section w a military biography was removed and the book owner wrote a message about the disposition of the information, perhaps in a publication. While incomplete, this book appears to be scarce and offers a legacy of ownership in an American Revolutionary family. T are owner signatures, notes, papers inserted, etc. All of these things constitute an interestig puzzle. This book is far from perfect, but it is a real treasure. No Reserve.
