This is a most unusual and rare pink American Sweetheart set. Included are (4) cups, (4) saucers, (4) 8" salad plates, (4) 4 ¾" 10 ounce tumblers, (1) sugar, (1) creamer and (4) pink ashtrays with a floral design (the ashtrays are without the American Sweetheart impressed pattern). The glassware looks unused without any chips, dings or other issues. The box is in good condition with signs of age, but nothing is torn off or missing and all original packing materials are present. I am a fanatical collector of this pattern and I seek the most bizarre and rare pieces and boxed sets. This is the only boxed set of this type I have ever seen and it needs to reside and be displayed in the advanced cabinet of a fanatical American Sweetheart collector. Or you could simply use this mind-blowing set to be a show off with your depression glass friends to make them jealous (it worked for me). The four 4 ¾" 10 ounce tumblers alone have a book value of $540! Nearly all depression era glass is not perfect or without some kind of as-made mini-flaws such as microscopic bubbles, manufacturing irregularities, glass flow lines, etc. I have handled this specific pattern for two decades and can't remember seeing any piece I would classify as "perfect" without any issue whatsoever.
