This Pristine (4) piece place setting contain 4 Gorgeous American Sweetheart Luncheon plates (9"), and 4 beautiful American Sweetheart Salad Plates (8"). T are a total of 8 plates. These plates were made by the MacBETH EVANS GLASS COMPANY. It has always been a favorite pattern because of its elegant design and limited availability having been produced from 1930 to 1936. It is still possible to collect this cherished pattern to use and enjoy even with the limited production. But it is becomming more difficult to find pieces especially in this fine condition. This American Sweetheart Monax 8 piece set is from a complete set of American Sweetheart from my grandmother's collection. The plates are in EXELLENT, condition - no chips or cracks. T are no stacking or storage marks. T are no cutlery marks on any of the plates. The top rim shows the beautifully embossed American Sweetheart pattern. These original pieces are bright white, opaque and translucent showing the brilliant American Sweetheart pattern. Each plate is lovely and shiny showing only the natural glass pressing mold marks. If you are a purest depression glass collector, or if you are collecting the American Sweetheart pattern to use in your home, then original and excellent condition is what you want, and this American Sweetheart place setting is just that.
