American Victorian Table Crumb Set consisting of a blade for scraping crumbs from a tablecloth and a tray for catching the crumbs. The set was produced by Van Bergh Silver Plate Co., Rochester, New York which was founded in 1892 and later merged with Oneida Community Limited in 1925. This table set has swiling whiplash design elements of the Art Nouveau style which was popular between 1895 and 1905, but the theme is primarily grape clusters, leaves and vines which were also popular during the same era. The set is in excellent condition with no loss of silver or denting. Dimensions are as follows: Crumb Tray 8"W X 6.5"L; Scraper 11.5" (Blade & Handle).
