Antique Art Glass & Sterling Silver Mallard Duck Vase A most sought after glass colors, black amethyst glass is blown into a beautiful trumpet vase with crimped rim has a thick sterling silver overlay of cattails and grasses with a mallard / duck flying over. Stamped on the rim of the footed base, RS and a C that is inside of a circle that is followed by Sterling with number 11. Measures 6-1/2'' tall with a 2-3/4'' diameter rim . Produced by between the late 1890's through the early 1900's. Free of chips, hairline breaks, or dents in sterling, cloudiness and scratches on glass. Recently polished with a soft cloth, no paste or liquid cleaner was used. Pristine Condition...
