Up for auction today is a beautiful PURPLE/amethyst glass Hen/chicken on nest. It is a very well made piece of glass with no rough seams,sharp edges or cloudiness. It is in perfect shape with no cracks,scratches,flea bites or chips. It measures approx. 5-3/4" high X 8" wide. This is the largest hen on nest that I have ever seen! The detail of the feathers and the weaving on the basket is very intricate and absolutely beautiful. It was hand made in Cambridge,OHIO. This is truly a beautiful piece of glass and would make a wonderful addition to any collection! Please e-mail me if you have any questions or would like to see more pictures prior to bidding.
