These beautiful handcrafted pieces are heirloom quality ; increasing in monetary and sentimental value as they descend to the heir as an inheritance . The quality craftsmanship built using old-fashioned construction methods and hand tools will carry on for generations . These products are crafted by an Old Order Amish craftsman in his 70's. He is the father of 21, grandfather of over 100, and great-grandfather of 17. He is struggling with medical complications from a heart attack that he suffered four years ago. He is no longer able to work in the fields. His only remaining contribution to the family income is his resourceful talent at constructing the fine furniture that he makes starting with a tree on his family property. He operates his own personal sawmill w he harvests , timbers , and dries the hardwood ; then moving to his woodworking shop w he planes , sands , and finishes the hardwoods preparing them for their transformation into a timeless work of art . This stepback pantry, cupboard hutch is so very Amish rustic cuntry primitive It is a 2-piece barnwood hutch; bottom - 18" x 36" x 35", top - 33 1/2" x 12" x 42 3/4". Classic work-of-art handmade by an Old Order Amish craftsman. This magnificent piece is sculpted from barnwood that withstood natures extreme elements in excess of 100 years.
