Buy them Now! I saved this pair of Ampex 621 tube amps from being recycled by the local recycling center! They were about to be crushed! The A/C cords had already been clean cut by the employees about 6 inches out from the chasis base “for the scrap metal content” and the wooden outer cases were unmercifully tossed and abused until I spotted them and saved them! I have a lot of projects right now, so I’m offering the pair at a fixed price with offers considered. I’ll keep these if they don’t sell at a reasonable price. Eventually they will be restored! All the tubes are still intact, As you can see, the outer cases are very rough, but the all important tube chasis and very early JBL speaker inside of both are all still t I removed one rear panel so you could see inside. Nobody has ever messed with the insides of either speaker! I am certain that the components inside both are original and still unrestored. The original JBL speakers and the tube chasis have not been abused. This is a good price for a great pair of vintage tube amps for the right audiophile! As far as the shipping costs go, it will not be cheap! Each amp weighs 35 Lbs dry before being boxed! The exact cost will depend on w you reside, but I would used a 40 Lb estimate for the weight of each box. Dimensions will be appx. 24 X 14 X 14. Local pickups are always welcome. read more
