This Ampex Stereo Custom Series model #602,serial #1091 is from my fathers estate. It has a Gerrard record changer, FM AM Ampex raido tuner model #503, Preamp model #403, Amplifier-speaker system model #302 15 amps.This was purchased new in 1959. Demensions are 521/2" X19" X 281/2" High.Weight I don't know. The Ampex #960 tape recorder ia a portable and was purchased later, it's dimensions are 9" X 15" X 171/2" and it's weight is 36 lbs. Right side speakers not working. Also throw in at no charge a box of 108 tubes some for the stereo. Literature included: Letter from Ampex Audio dated January 18, 1960. 3 Owner manuals. Owners reference book. Maintenance procedure handbook for 900 series tape recorders. Operating,installation and service manual for garrard unit. 2 Pocket size advertising booklets. Advertising brochure "Fun With Ampex Stereo". Spec sheet for #934-936 tapr recorders. Spec sheet for Ampex 960 tape recorder. Advertising for Ampex Custom Series. Advertising for Ampex Audio Components. This is to be picked up in West Hills Ca. zip 91307. Will help moving or shipping company if I can. Will ship tubes and literature by usps.
