A nice little car from my collection. A vintage 1/24 scale Mercury Comet racing slot car, made by AMT in 1966. The original display box is included in the deal.The Body : Original AMT 66 Comet slot car body, molded in red. The body is in overall good condition, good glass and chrome, plastic has a nice shine. Original vac-formed interior insert with driver figure. Body is not cut or modified, but pass side vent window post is cracked (see last photo).The Chassis : Original AMT brass pan slot car chassis, with good running AMT purple 36D motor. Chassis is all correct and original, it is very clean, and shows little use. All correct tires, rear slicks are soft and will grip good with a light sanding.The Box : Original box for this car, slightly dog-eared and stained, but colors are still bright, and displays car well. One small hole in display window, otherwise original and complete.Overall : A nice little car, not restored, just original and clean. Ready to race or display, feel free to ask any questions. ...
