OK Folks--Take A close look at the pictures then read the description. This is a very nice, and nice size mineral display specimen. Specifically, an amythest Geode with a "pocket" of quartz crystal in the interior. Look closely at the walls and mineral layerings of the walls. In the central wall is a white outlining mineral--this is an agate based mineral composition. T are layers of different minerals, combinations of minerals exhibited in the wall of this geode. Then t is the beautiful interior, with hundreds and hundreds of like sized crystals, very translucent/transparent and color shading from clear at the base of the crystals becoming more amythesit "purple" closer to the point of each crystal. VERY VERY NICE.

This beauty weighs 8.4 lbs. and measures 5 3/4 inches across by almost 7 1/2 inches high and another 4 plus inches deep. The interior "pocket" measures itself 3 inches across, another 4 inches high and about 1 1/2 inches deep. Country of origin: Brazil
