Hello friend! If you're celebrating with me, Merry Christmas! This circa 1800's coffee or tea pot is substantially heavy for its size, and its primitive construction is outstanding! Including its lid, its 8" tall form is handmade and soldered...its folded and riveted handle is still firmly applied and note its folded and soldered base. Its interior appears to be tin lined with only a bit of minor wear from lid rubs, and its exterior copper surface has acquired that beautiful deep mellowed patina that only the years can bring. Its classic form does have a few light surface scratches and some expected dimples and t, but in my opinion, nothing distracting. Its spout has the expected perforated strainer built in, and its lid fits very well (easy on and off). It's unmarked, and has the number 834013 scribed into its base. This great piece of early copper is guaranteed to be exactly as described so bid with confidence...feel free to ask questions if further details are necessary.
