This scoop and handle was found on private land near Showlow, Arizona. It was made around 1100 A D. This scoop and handle were found whole and intact, no restoration, no paint touch ups, no glue. You can restore this piece yourself or show as is. It has very, very nice bright paint on both the scoop and the handle. T is a fire cloud on the outside. Ther are a few hairline cracks on the very bottom of this piece. T are no chips on the rim or throughout the piece. The handle has two small ears on the top of the handle. T are two very small holes under the ears that look to me was put t to lace leather through. The scoop is 5 and 1/4" x 4 and 1/4" wide, is 2 and 1/2" tall. The handle is 4 and 1/4" long, 1 and 1/4" wide, and 1" tall.We sell only authentic pre-historic pottery, never any fakes or reproductions. Very seldom do we sell restored pieces.
