This necklace was found on private land near Showlow, Arizona. It was made around 1300 A D. This necklace was found in a Tularose olla, in a cave on private land. The necklace is strung on its original string. The beads and the string were preserved in the olla, away from any weather. The necklace was broken into pieces, those pieces are all differnet sizes. T are eight pieces of strung beads. They range from 13 and 1/2" long to 2 and 1/2" long. All of the strings add up to around 52" of strung beads. T are over 175 single beads that were broke off of the necklace and pieces of the original string. The beads are made of shells. It is very rare to get the string, and to get the beads strung on to the original string. These beads were strung pre-historically. It is neat to see how they strung their own necklace. The seperate beads and the strung beads were put into a frame to showcase and to preserve them. Beads are found, but you rarely find these beads strung pre-historically on its orginal string. We sell only authentic pre-historic pottery, never any fakes or reproductions. Very seldom do we sell restored pieces. If we do we will specify it on the auction. We will also put a before and after picture on the auction so that you can see w the restoration has taken place. We guarentee our wares to be authentic and will double the end auction price if proven differently. A Certificate of Authenticity is available upon request. Thank you for looking and good luck.
