DESCRIPTION Fort Knox Antiquities is very pleased to offer this Tula Rosa Pottery Duck Effigy. One of the most desirable of Pre-Historic Native American pottery, a fine black-on-white duck effigy vessel from the Mogollon/Tularosa culture of Arizona. Sack-shaped jar with rounded handle, decorated with black pigment in checkerboard designs on the side and snake designs on the handle. The jar measures 3.5 inches tall and 3.7 inches long . Aside from repair to handle is intact and in near-choice condition - rare to find in this fine of condition! American Indian pieces are extremely valuable and difficult to obtain because of the laws governing its sale. American Indian pieces have always increased in value and are collected across the globe. This piece is being offered at no reserve.
