Anchor Hocking Glass Opalescent Wrisley Perfume Bottle
is a nice Opalescent perfume bottle that Anchor Hocking Glass produced for the Wrisley Company circa 1940. This bottle was also made by Fenton Glass before they lost the contract to Anchor Hocking. The Anchor Hocking bottle has a glass and cork stopper. Our stopper has come apart, but the glass ball is OK. The Fenton bottle has a fiery opalescence lacking in the Hocking Bottle. This bottle is sometime mistakenly attributed to the Anchor Hocking Moonstone line, but it was never part of that line. It measures 6" high, 4 1/8" wide with a 2" base and a 7/8" opening. It is in good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. A nice addition to any collection.
