Due to the high volume of negative and neutral feedback received (neutral counts as negative for sellers) from lost and damaged uninsured parcels, we now require shipping insurance on all shipments no exceptions this is included in the quoted shipping cost . USPS Rules for processing claims are below please read them to familiarize yourself on what is required if your item is lost or damaged in shipment. DO NOT SIGN FOR YOUR PACKAGE UNTIL YOU INSPECT IT. LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS DUE TO SHIPPING: We will actively pursue insurance claims with our customers in the event of loss or damage by the USPS. LOST: If your item does not arrive within a reasonable amount of time contact us (The USPS requires 30 DAYS from the date of mailing of the parcel and the parcel MUST NOT have a delivery scan to process a claim for lost mail). We initiate a claim for lost mail; full contact information from you must be provided to facilitate the claim. DAMAGED: If your item arrives damaged you must take the entire package, all packaging and contents to your Post Office and initiate the claim. If you do not the Post Office will not process the claim. If your Post Office requires you to sign for the insurance prior to releasing your parcel then OPEN THE ITEM AND INSPECT it as well as the packaging BEFORE SIGNING and accepting the package. Make them wait on you, these are their rules donâe(tm)t worry about holding up the line. The USPS can deny a claim if you sign for it and later discover it is damaged. If your item is damaged initiate the claim onsite immediately . We will not issue refunds on lost or damaged items as we have no control over the third party actions of the shipping provider. Claims must be processed by the shipping provider and by their terms
