Most of my sales to date have been items from the family estate left to me or merchandise I bought at the closing of the Origional J. Peterman Company in 2000. But once in awhile, when I'm out exploring, I come across something that catches my eye or peaks my interest that I can offer to you, like this: Anchor Pottery Floral Transfer Pitcher 1908-1927 This piece was made between 1908 - 1927 and hallmarked by Anchor Pottery of Trenton NJ. The Pitcher is finely designed in Victorian style and detail. The white semi-porcelain is decorated with a floral transfer of greenery and flowers in shades of pale and deep pink with a hint of yellow. T are no chips or scratches in the piece, but a hairline became apparrent in the photos (See picture.) The rim is trimmed in gold gilt which shows slight wear. The applied handle of this piece is amazing! very delicate and ornate. The Pitcher stands 6-1/2 inches tall on a base that measures 3-1/4 inches in diameter. Measuring acroos the rim from handle to spout is 7-1/2 inches. A vary feminine piece perfect for Shabby Chic decor or just a lovely touch of Victorian style to your Valentines Day.
