Product Description: Each Bast is made from resin and has been painted black with some details highlighted in gold red and green paint. This item comes packaged 2 in a card box and must be purchased in multiples of 2 only. Dimensions: Height 20cm The goddess of warfare, Bast, or Bastet as she is more commonly referred to by scholars today, was worshipped in the early part of the Egyptian Dynasties. Bast was a protector of Pharaohs and also of gods such as Ra, but once Sekhmet, the lioness goddess, became more prevalent her role and popularity diminished. Bast Cat or Bastet was the Goddess of sunrise, music,dance and pleasure as well as family, fertility and birth.
