~ Welcome ~ For your consideration and bidding pleasure we are offering you this very old India Mortar stone.. The family of the estate thought that Mortar came from around the California area , it was found many years ago by their great grandparents.. This old indian stone bowl is made out of a very heavy almost 40 lbs of what looks like sandstone ,it still has some Lichen on it..we did not clean the dust and dirt off as we did not want to disturb the natural Lichens on this piece..It is large and measures about 13 " tall and is about 9-11 " across the base measures about 8 " ..the hole measures about 9" deep..this looks like it may have had another side at one time..Am not sure ..May be the way that it was used.. A very nice VERY OLD Artifact Mortar for your collection... We have some other arrowheads and Indian tools that we will be listing .....you may want them for your collection ......Please Look at the last picture of some of the other artifacts that we will be listing...
