ORIGINAL RELIC TRUE CROSS D.N.J.C. IN SILVER THECA 1700. Ancient relic 1700 of true cross D.N.J.C. silver reliquary closed by an ancient crystal, inside decorations of gilded and silver paper. Behind a beautiful readable seal of red wax guarantees the integrity of the relic, the silky threads that seal the reliquary are intacts . With most important Reliquary gilded bronze, with punch on the back. This relic comes originally from the estate of a Roman Curia Cardinal but ended in the remarkable collection of a Monsignore who has one of the most remarkable private collections of reliquaries I have ever seen. It once stood on the Cardinal's desk: Rome, relic is ca. 1740.
