ANDREA DORIA SAUCER

you are bidding on an authentic 5 7/8" (14.9cm) third class saucer recovered by a diver from the wreck of the Andrea Doria . This piece, remains in a remarkable state of preservation (free of any chips or cracks) ;however, the still legible mark on the back wich reads: Verbano Porcellana Di Laveno has suffered from fading, which is a testament to this historic artifacts ordeal. This 7.6oz (217mg) piece was aquired (along other with many other doria artifacts) from the estate of a long time Portland Oregon sport diver, who recovered this piece in the early days of the Doria's exploration and salvage. The face of the saucer remains intact, with crisp lines and surviving Italia logo, making this a wonderfull display piece that will stand out in any Andrea Doria or Italian Line collection. This remarkable piece will be carefully packaged and sent insured priority mail so that you may bid with confidence. Thank you, and Please note I retain %100 percent positive feedback, encourage all comments and enquiries, and t is No Sales Tax. Good Luck
