Great Original Condition! Probably Italian in origin, this is what may be considered "over the top" carving. The arms are elegantly carved with large griffinesque heads, the backrest has two flying angels cradling a cartouche and a large northwind or sun face below. The trumpet legs end in hairy paw feet, completing an overall eye-tantilizing design! We reupholstered the seat with a rich burgandy and gold fabric. The chair is comfortable, sturdy, and ready for your home! ~ Condition is fine, original, and sturdy. The measurements are 45" high, 24" wide, 24" deep, and a seat height of 19".
