Bethlehem Olive Wood Collection: Chiastolite Rosary The Gemstone Collection is in honor of the beauty of nature found around us every day. The stones used in these rosaries and genuine and semi-precious, and range from those more familiar to us (Jasper, Jade, Onyx, and Amethyst) to those more unfamiliar and exotic (Sodalite, Unakite, Snowflake Obsidian, and Chiastolite). This 10 1/2" rosary is particularly unique because it features the semi-precious gemstone Chiastolite. Chiastolite, also known as the "cross stone," is called so because of the naturally-occuring cross pattern in the stone. The axis and angle of this stone, a variety of Andalusite, are in a different color than the rest of the crystal. I have a very limited number of these rosaries, and once they are gone, I do not know when I will be able to obtain more of these gemstone beads.
