This Anglican Rosary is perfect for a loved one in the service at home or overseas. The spacer beads are black so t can be no glint and the medal itself has a brushed, not a shiny finish. One one side of the medal is a version of the Jersusalem Cross, with five Crosses, each one representing one of the wounds of Christ at the Crucifixion. The words, "Christ Died for You" appear nestled between the Crosses. On the reverse, in the shape of a Cross are the words, "Episcopal Church Service Cross." The Episcopal Service Cross was designed by Edith Perry, wife of the then Presiding Bishop, James De Wolf Perry, and was first issued to be worn by our soldiers during World War I. Because this medal is a distinctive symbol of an Episcopalian, it is suggested that it be carried at all times, and it is even permissible to wear it on official dog tags. As with all items I offer, the new owner has been prayed for as the rosary was made with special intentions for safety and a strengthened bond with our Lord. A pamphlet explaining the history and use of the Anglican Rosary is included along with a pouch to keep it in. Prayer beads themselves are always appropriate for people of any faith and can be a gentle reminder to talk with the Father each day.
