You are bidding on a pre-prohibition Anheuser Busch Brewing Association Round Beer Serving Tray. St Louis MO. Measures 12" across. The colors are still bright. There are paint flakes around the edge of the tray. There are also paint flakes on the front of the tray; by the A above Louis, at the top above the S, and in the middle of the tray on the clouds and eagle. There is some staining below the S in USA and a black mark above the S in Louis. Marked Chas W Shonk Co Litho Chicago. Someone put a holder on the back. There is scuffing on the back and there are paint flakes on the back rim. There is alligatoring on the tray but the paint is not flaking. I am selling off some of my dad's collection. This has been stored inside his home for the last 30 years. Buyer to pay shipping. Please check out my other items, I will combine on shipping. Please ask any and all questions before the auction ends. Thanks for looking and !There is no restoration. It looks the same as it did 40 years ago when it was bought. My parents collected spice tins, beer trays, glassware, etc.The holder on the back looks like a brown glue adhesive with another silver adhesive under that, holding a piece of rope to hang it. I do not see any damage to the front from the hanger.
