I AM BREAKING UP AND SELLING A HUGE COLLECTION OF ANNALEE MOBILITEE DOLLS FOR A FRIEND IN FINANCIAL NEED. THE DOLLS WERE PURCHASED BY HER, HAVE NEVER BEEN HANDLED, MANY ARE STILL IN THE ORIGINAL PLASTIC, ALL ARE IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION, READY TO COLLECT AND DISPLAY. Created in New Hampshire, the Annalee story is one of quality craftsmanship and a personal touch making each figure unique and collectible. The collection I'm selling is genuine, vintage and varies in years, sizes and shape, please view all the photos I've provided and email with any questions. Wikipedia describes Annalee as follows: Annalee Dolls, Inc., also known as Annalee Mobilitee Dolls Inc. , and AMD Holdings Inc. ,[ 1] [2 ] is a company located in Meredith , New Hampshire , that manufactures collectible dolls . The company was founded by Barbara Annalee Davis (later Thorndike) who died in 2002. At the company's height, it filled over 14 acres (5.7 ha) of land dotted with seven buildings containing 34,000 square feet (3,200 m 2) of space, and had US$ 15 million in sales with 300 employees. The popularity of Annalee Dolls led R. Stuart Wallace to write that "the most famous manufactured item to come from New Hampshire in the 20th century is the Annalee doll." [3 ] Annalee Dolls have reached up to $6,000 at auction. In 2008, the company closed its museum and sold its Meredith factory. This particular auction is for TWO (2) ANNALEE Figures/ Dolls described as follows: It is lot of TWO different small DUCK figures which measures aprox. 5" inches from bottom of webbed feet to top of the hats/ heads and about 3 1/2" inches at it's widest point and this lot weighs approximately 6 ounces. These two DUCK figures are both YELLOW in color with white hair under their hats and white furry hair on their backs, including their tails. According to the Official Price Index & Collectors Information Guide I've obtained, the real difference is that one is male and one is female, they were sold and marketed together. The male duck doll has a big black bowtie and blue and silver hat on his head. The female duck has a white mesh bonnet with purple trim and blue and purple flowers on top. She wears a matching purple ribbon on her neck. Both Ducks have all yellow bodies, no visible ears or wings. The facial features on both are painted, rosy cheeked, with bright orange protruding nose/ beaks. They both have small white puffy tail at the rear end and each has black eyes. They each stand tall on two legs which are part of the body. THE LABEL ATTACHED TO EACH SAYS: "1972/ 1982 * Annalee Mobilitee Dolls * Meredith, NH * USA". These two small DUCK figures are adorable and they come from a collection of items which have been in storage for many years and are now being sold off one piece at a time. This pair of Annalee DUCKS is ready to display in your home or to add to your collection. I understand that some of the dolls are quite unique and valuable, also that some attractive AnnaLee themed displays have been created using dolls like this.
