Straight from the story book comes this lovely Anne of Green Gables doll made by Jessie Bishop Dolls and Judy Rankine and sold in stores in the early 1990's. THIS DOLL IS SIGNED BY THE DESIGNER, JUDY RANKINE and DATED 1992 ON HER LOWER WAIST. This adorable Anne measures 23” tall and features beautiful red hair, precious freckles on her face, a lovely green plaid dress covered by an apron and black socks and patent leather-looking boots. This doll has a stuffed cloth body and limbs, and the head and shoulder plate is sculpted and cast in ceramic and then covered in cotton interlock, hand-painted and sprayed to protect them from soiling. Anne was displayed in a non-smoking home so she’s in Like New condition.
