Just one of inkFrog's Creations Description: Rare and amazing! 1960s vintage lathe turned wooden box or powder jar with copper enamel lid by famed Sierra Madre, California enamelist/designer Annemarie Davidson. Signed by branding on the thin cork bottom with the artist's distinctive logo "AD". The wood appears to be walnut and the jar consists of three laminated rings, and turned on the lathe. The domed copper enamel lid fits perfectly and is a cerulean blue with feathery transparent cobalt designs that show the copper base (pictures look more light turquoise). The lid knob is wooden and attached on the underside with a screw. Size: 5" diameter, 5" high. Condition: Completely original, Nearly new looking with no flaws to report. As close to perfect as you will find for an Eames era modernist piece. Payment and Shipping: We customarily accept: Cashier's Check, Money Orders, Billpoint or PayPal (verified shipping address only) payments for rapid shipping. Personal/Business checks must wait to clear before shipping (unless you have had previous purchases with us). Occasionally we will request "NO PAYPAL" on select auctions. Sorry, we are not set-up for credit card sales. California residents expect to pay 7.25% sales tax, unless you have a valid Ca. Resale number. We ship U.S.P.S. Priority for most items, Book rate offered w applicable. We strongly recommend insurance, as we cannot assume liability for lost or damaged items in transit after they have been shipped without insurance. We notify buyer by e-Mail the day we ship. Shipping outside the U.S. is a bit new for us, but it seems to be working OK. If you do not need insurance, airmail letter rate is the cheapest, but if you require insurance, the US Post Office will not ship the cheapest way, but makes us use Air Parcel, which is double the cost of the cheap Air Letter postage rate. We wrap well, so breakage isn't a problem, as long as it doesn't get lost. In that case, once it has left out Post Office uninsured, we can not track it or be responsible for lost items. If this is understood, please feel free to bid, and thanks for asking.
