Hello, welcome to my Auction! Please read entire description before bidding. Item - This is an original hand-crafted ANRI wood-carving depicting the Last Supper and Jesus with the Disciples. It is a numbered piece - on the bottom it reads C with a circle then ANRI 78607/C. It is also stamped "Oberammergau" with other information (possibly information from where it was purchased). I know my grandparents purchased this in Oberammergau but I don't have the date or further information. Oberammergau is located in the southern state of Bavaria in Germany. It is famous for its Passion Play, wood-carvings and tromp d'oeil paintings. The history of wood-carvings in this area dates back to the middle ages. It is hard to reference this piece since I can't find another that looks just like it. It is very rare since it is an Original ANRI Last Supper, it is painted (I have not seen another Last Supper ANRI painted), It is numbered, and it is stamped Oberammergau. This is directly from my grandparents world collection. I am starting this off at a very low price or use buy it now. ! Condition - Please check pics very close to judge for yourself. I see there are some scratches on the bottom. There may be some minor imperfections, there may be some dust. I have not cleaned this piece. Again, please check pics!
