Welcome! Up for grabs is this beautiful, antique, cast iron and brass Ansonia mantle clock, and yes, it works! Sort of. I've gotten it to run for approximately an hour before it just stops. I personally do not know much about clocks, let alone antique ones. I do know that t is no key and the back is missing. It was found in my house shortly after moving in, but the missing piece and key was now to be found. If you look at the lovely pictures, t is a close up of the brand and a date. The date merely says "patented June 18, 1882", and is very small to see. Along the front of the clock, t are golden brass pillars with two angels flying in the center. Just beautiful! Measurements are 13" tall, 8" long and 5" wide. Because of it's material, it is a pretty hefty piece. I will ship the day of or the day after payment is recieved, and make sure to have a proper address please.Any questions, feel free to contact me. I don't bite you know! Thanks for stopping by and looking! And thanks even more for bidding!
