Ansonia Apex crystal regulator clock @ 1900. This clock is all original untouched estate piece, presented as found. The original gilt finish has achieved an excellent patina. At some of the high points there is some hint of the copper underplating showing though, but overall this clock has great finish, appropriate for its age. No breaks or missing pieces to the case. There at one point in the past was something glued to the inside bottom of the case. There is some glue residue and oxidation in this area (see photos). All four beveled glasses are undamaged. Porcelain dial perfect with no damage. Original hands, pendulum, key and gong. The 8 day time and strike movement is marked Ansonia on the backplate. It is relatively clean and runs and strikes well, but is sold without any warranty. Original ruby pallets in the open escapement. Great sounding strike. 18 1/2" tall x 10 1/2" wide x 8 1/2" deep. No reserve. FedEx ground shipping in the continental USA will be $100.00 due to the necessary packing to properly ship this great clock.
